Happy Girl
Reagan is happy girl most of the time now. She is eager to give her Mama a smile.
Daddy on the other hand is a totally different story.

2 Months Old
Today, Reagan is 2 Months old. She went to the doctor for her checkup and here are her stats. 9 lbs. 7 oz. which puts her in the 25th percentile on weight. 22.5” long which puts her at the 50% on length. 38.5cm around the head which puts her at the 50% as well. So she is average on length and head size but low on the weight. She also had her first rounds of vaccinations. 4 shots in total, two in each leg and she was not a happy camper at all. Syd always cried a little but Reagan was crying so hard she turned bright red and had trouble getting her breath. I think she was having flashbacks for the rest of the evening because she would suddenly break out into little cries and want to be cuddled. Good thing big sis was there to tell her it was ok. Though I think the sight of the needle and Reagan crying freaked her out a little as well. Here you can tell Reagan is still traumatized.
But, Mama can still get out a smile.

Baby Einstein
If I could just reach those darn guys hanging in my face. I try and I try but these hands just won’t hold still long enough to zero in on anything. But it sure does get me grunting in aggravation.
Mama likes how the vibrator puts me to sleep in just minutes.
Smile
Reagan has been cracking the smiles a lot more often now. But never with a camera in hand. Well, this time I had the camera but only got the start of the smile not the full out grin. Its a start.
TV Rules
Papa and Grammy Coburn bought Sydney a Brainy Baby video when she was about 7 months old. Its a video of random items swirling around the screen. Bouncing balls, windwmills, etc. Syd watched it a few times but never really got into it much. Well, last week she found the video and has been insisting on watching it every day. She likes to tell us what color everything is. On a fluke, I put Reagan on the floor and she happened to notice these images swirling around on the television. She is now hooked. She gets so excited by these images that she throws her arms about and stares wide-eyed for the whole video. I guess there’s more going on in that little head then we think.

Mama keeps putting these things in my hand. It just makes me so upset that I have to shake them. Wait, they make noise when you shake. Maybe these are kinda cool afterall.

My Feet
The girls had some photos taken last month to celebrate Sydney’s 2nd birthday and Reagan’s first month. For you old schoolers, we mailed out some of the hard copies of the pictures the other day. Should be receiving them today. However, we didn’t get prints of all the shots but we do have digitals of them. So I will leak 1 a day onto the web site. If you see any you like, let us know and I can email you the full size version and you can print it yourself if you like.

What Big Eyes
Have you noticed that nearly every photo of Reagan has her eyes bugging out? It wasn’t on purpose — until now. Kim noticed this trend the other day. So when I took a few of her today, I couldn’t resist another one of the same. Reagan smiles now and then but I am not quick enough with the camera.
