Cousin Jonathon
I had met Cousin Jonathon before but this time around we were able to sit up and be more active so it was much more fun. You wouldn’t know it from these pictures but Jonathon is about a month younger then me. Yet, he weighs in at about 5 pounds more then me already. Not bad for being born so early. Here we are playing together on the floor.

Don’t you just love his poofy hair. I just had to keep pulling at it.

By now I was starting to feel better and not so nervous to be around all of these people. But of course now its time to head home. See you this summer Fort Wayne.

Christmas Day
Christmas Day was spent the whole day at Nana and Papa Fuller’s house. I was doing a little better probably because we weren’t running around so much, but still still pretty crabby. And would you believe I had more presents to open! Nana out did herself again with the home made gifts. Here is a picture of the matching scarves she made Sydney and me.

Here is a picture of Nana’s house after all the presents were open. I decided it was okay to let Mimi hang out with me for a few minutes. Well, at least until I caught sight of my Mommy again.

Later that evening the moodiness came back to me once again. Nana was able to keep me somewhat subdued for a few minutes with one of her patented bucket rides. I don’t know if I liked it or was just confused by what was happening to me.

Wow, what a first Christmas. I did have a good time, I think? But, I bet next year will be really fun.

Christmas Eve in Fort Wayne
Next we headed out to Fort Wayne for Christmas with the family. There were so many people to see that we had to spread the holiday over two days. Christmas Eve was not such a great day for me. I wasn’t feeling too great so I was crabby most of the day. Despite my mood I made out pretty good. Here we are at Grandma and Papa Coburn’s house opening my loot.

I let Aunt Sara hold me for a few minutes but other than that I would only allow my Mommy near me. Hence the lack of pictures with anybody else. Did I mention I wasn’t feeling too good?

Next we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Lasleys house for a big family visit. I was asleep this entire party so again no pictures.
Next we headed over to Papa and Grandma Hakes house for Christmas. Again I was asleep most of this party as well. But, I did manage to stay awake just long enough for presents.

Soon enough I was letting it be known that still I was not feeling too good. It started with a fever building, my skin was turning yellow, I started throwing up, my eyes started rolling back in my head, and finally I was unable to hold my head up. Time to get in the car and head to the ER. It was the only thing open on Christmas Eve. The doctors suspected that I had contracted Hepatitis in Mexico from my symptoms. So they took some blood, which I really didn’t like, and ran some tests. All turned out to be okay. Probably just a stomach virus. But not a way to spend your first Christmas Eve.

My First Christmas
Well, my first Christmas has come and gone and with it came some good and not so good moments. Things started out great as we celebrated Christmas here at home. We woke up and came downstairs to find all sorts of presents around the tree. Since I did not yet have my own stocking (Mimi soon took care of that little issue) Santa left his hat for me full of all sorts of goodies. My favorite was this snowman bell that doubles as a whistle as well as a lolipop.

I had no interest in opening any presents this year so my big sister helped me out. She wasted no time in ripping open my gifts. Here is my new piano. Cool, huh!

A couple of days later Santa himself came around our neighborhood to make sure we got all the gifts. His reindeer must have been tired so he rode through the neighborhood on a big firetruck. That sure was nice of Santa.

My First Christmas Tree
Mama let me open my gift from Papa and Nana early so that I could enjoy it this year. Mama even found this great gingerbread man and candy cane garland along with my very own singing dog ornament…Sissy has the matching cat. Her’s meows and mine barks. Sydney even lent me a couple of her ornaments. You can’t tell here but my tree has fiber optic lights that can change colors. Isn’t it beautiful!

Do you think this picture makes me look like one of Santa’s elf’s?

A Little Space Please
My big sister always has to be RIGHT where I am. Can’t a girl get a little personal space every once in awhile?
