With a 4 day weekend and Natalee in town, the girls got some more time on the slopes. Part of me is still in disbelief that they ride the chairs by themselves. It was just a few years ago that I was clutching their coats the whole way up.
Having fun yet?
Break time! Reagan always has Mac-n-Cheese. I ate some of it. That’s the look she gave me when I did so.
The next day it was off to Cooper Mountain for some bigger terrain.
Reagan and I got separated from the group so we went to a new spot to grab food. Reagan was nervous as she wasn’t sure what she would be eating. Turns out they have the staple. And it was pretty good!
The picture Reagan drew at dinner showing everyone’s favorite food!
Here is some video from day 1 at Ski Cooper as shot by Reagan.
Here is a run on day 2 at Copper Mountain.
Reagan found this run called Coppertone that she was thrilled with. It was this long sweeping descent that was well groomed. You could just tuck and go. And that’s what she did. Like I was scared when she was doing it. I couldn’t catch her on the downhill. It took me way out onto the flats to get enough momentum to come up on her. She was giddy with the run. Told me it was the best ski day ever. We did it several times. I had the camera on her for one figuring it would be a cool shot but she has her head down a lot through it. However, she hits the half pipe at the end for a final move of the day!
